Communication

At Barnby Road Academy, we believe strong communication helps children thrive. We send important updates to parents in clear, timely ways so you always know what is happening in school, including key dates, curriculum information, and any changes to routines. If you ever have questions about your child’s learning or wellbeing, please contact us and we will be happy to help.

We also use the Arbor app to support day-to-day communication between home and school. The Arbor app can help you stay informed about school messages, updates, and relevant information for your child. Using the app is a convenient way to ensure you don’t miss important notifications, especially during busy school weeks.

Who to contact

At Barnby Road Academy, we believe clear, timely communication helps children learn and feel supported. To make this easier for families, we use a communication flowchart so you know who to contact and when—whether you need help with day-to-day matters, attendance, learning concerns, or events. You will also find contact details for class teachers below.
